Teal Garden Lampwork Glass Necklace

Finally get to post something new…I had a last minute business trip so I didn’t have time to update my blog or website. This necklace is a remake of the teal garden bracelet. This is a graduated bead necklace made with Italian ivory and teal glass embellished with a flower sterling silver clasp. All the components are Sterling Silver and Swarovski pearls. Enjoy!

Floral Cat Glass Bead

floral_kitty.jpg

At last a new cat!  My cold is over, my jewelry update is done so I’m back to making beads! The inspiration for this cat came from a trip to the SF zoo where my children rod a beautiful white horse on the merry go round…inspiration hit, and the floral kitty was born! This kitty measures 7/8″ from hole to hole (horizontally) and comes strung in an adjustable cotton cord embellished with cheerful Greek ceramic spacers.  The price for this kitty is $20.

Jewelry is up on the website now!

Ready to start your Holiday shopping?  Check the new pendants, bracelets and necklaces just listed on my site!  I have lampwork glass and semi precious stone jewelry.  The focal bead page has lots of pendants ready to wear!

Major Jewelry update tomorrow

Just wanted to give you a heads up…I will list lots of jewelry items tomorrow on my website.  Here is a sneak peek…Enjoy!

Glass Pumpkin Patch

Today I took my daughter to the pumpkin patch. This one is not your ordinary pumpkin patch…it’s a GLASS pumpkin patch. These gorgeous pumpkins are made every year by talented glass blowers and sold in October in Palo Alto though BAGI (Bay Area Glass Institute). Here are a few pictures I wanted to share. Wish I could take them all home with me!

Riveted Glass Pendant

Last week I mentioned about a riveting class I took.  This class inspired me to combine my glass beads with silver  and this is the first of my creations.  This pendant was stamped and the bead is attached with a rivet.  These are so much fun to make so expect more to come!
