Just wanted to share the magnificent crocheted flowers my sister makes!  She was bitten by the crochet bug and started making lots and lots of flowers for a belt….and she had quite a few left so I took a handful which I’m planning to use on hats for my daughters.  Aren’t they beautiful?

Inspired by my sisters flowers, I made a necklace with resin flowers mixed with Greek ceramic, seed beads and Czech glass beads.  I showed it to my sister, she tried it on and refused to return it… so it’s now her necklace :).  It’s funny because when I bought the flower beads, she was questioning who would wear such large flowers…and look at her now!  I made a smaller necklace with some of the flowers and my dear friend Lisbeth took it home with her.  I’ll be making more of these…

I just moved houses and haven’t set up my torch yet so it will be a while before I make beads. I have lots to unpack but can’t do it yet as we’ll be fixing up a few things yet…. and the best part is I get to design my studio!  I already found my workspace…now just need to get all the materials to set up the ventilation and I should be ready to go!  Can’t wait!
